Welcome to the Boiling Kettle Theatre Company

BOILING KETTLE THEATRE COMPANY was founded in 2006 by Sian Williams (Writer/Administrator) and Anne Pearson (Artistic Director). The company is dedicated to bringing text based drama to rural communities and has staged four very successful tours: The Mad Woman in the Attic by Sian Williams (2006 and 2008) and a double bill entitled Thicker than Water which featured Sian’s play Master of Disguise and Clearing My Mother’s House by Lisa McGinnis. The shows were seen by over two thousand people and most enthusiastically received.

Sian’s play, Defender of the Dead, toured extensively in the South West from September to November 2016 and we are delighted to announce another tour of the show will begin in October this year. For more details go to our NEWS section.

The Writing for Somerset play writing project began with 3 workshops in the Autumn of 2016 and on Sunday, 15th October a Scratch Night will be held at The Archangel, Frome where extracts from the plays in development will be presented. For more details go to our NEWS section.

See NEWS for updates on our plans, projects and productions. You can also follow us on the Boiling Kettle Theatre Company Facebook page.
