Welcome to the Boiling Kettle Theatre Company

BOILING KETTLE THEATRE COMPANY was founded in 2006 by Sian Williams (Writer/Administrator) and Anne Pearson (Artistic Director). The company is dedicated to bringing text based drama to rural communities and has staged four very successful tours: The Mad Woman in the Attic by Sian Williams (2006 and 2008) and a double bill entitled Thicker than Water which featured Sian’s play Master of Disguise and Clearing My Mother’s House by Lisa McGinnis. The shows were seen by over two thousand people and most enthusiastically received.

Sian’s play, Defender of the Dead, toured extensively in the South West from September to November 2016. See PRODUCTIONS for more details.

In the Autumn of 2016 The Writing for Somerset project began with playwriting workshops at the David Hall, South Petherton and Ashbrittle Village Hall. In February 2017 another writing workshop took place at The Merlin Theatre, Frome.

BKTC is currently planning another tour of Defender of the Dead.
